Seven Isles International School hosted its much-anticipated 15th Annual Day on Wednesday, 18th December 2024, captivating the audience with the theme “Time Travel.” The event, held at Kalidas Auditorium, saw enthusiastic participation from students across all grades, from Nursery to Grade 12. The vibrant performances and engaging activities turned the evening into a spectacular celebration of creativity, talent, and teamwork. The entire school participated wholeheartedly toward the success of this grand event. With the blessings and support of the Honourable Chairman, Professor M. Ramachandran Sir, and Respected Trustee, Mrs. Bharti Ramachandran, and beloved Trustee Mr. Rahul Ramachandran, this event took place. The triumph was made possible by the relentless efforts of the team under the leadership of the Principal, Mr. V.P. Prabhu. Mr. Shunmuga Sunder, Principal of our sister concern Nasik Cambridge School, also graced this event. Principals of schools and preschools around Mulund and editors of newspapers were invited to witness the event.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by the students. The agenda included a welcome speech, lighting the lamp by dignitaries, the school prayer, school anthem, national anthem, an introduction of the theme, and a welcome dance and song. The Chief Guest, Dr. Archana Patki, Head of the Department of Psychology and Principal of Smt. Maniben M.P. Shah Women’s College of Arts & Commerce, graced the occasion with her presence and delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of parents in shaping the students. This was followed by an award ceremony recognizing students with 100% attendance throughout the year, proficiency awards for academic excellence, star student award and IGCSE and A-Level toppers. Teachers’ awards included Founder Principal, Founder Teachers, 15 Years’ Completion, Loyalty Awards for completing more than 10 years, 10 Years Completion, 5 Years Completion, IGCSE and AS/A Level Excellence, and 100% Attendance.
The journey through time witnessed an enchanting fashion show, enactment of rhymes and stories, spectacular dances that brought nostalgic moments, and musical performances by students who rendered soulful melodies spanning eras. A tribute to Lord Krishna, the Harry Potter skit, Hindi Kavi Sammelan, Marathi skit, A Journey to Vijayanagar, and the play “Comedy of Errors” added variety to the program. The entire event was met with thunderous applause, reflecting the audience’s appreciation for the students’ hard work and dedication.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, school management, principal, staff, students, and parents for their unwavering support and contributions to making the Annual Day a resounding success. This was followed by a tribute to the nation through the National Song.
The audience appreciated the choice of theme and the mind-blowing show put up by Seven Isles. The Chief Guest, principals of different schools, other invited guests, and newspaper editors present gave excellent feedback about the event. They were also impressed with the hospitality and arrangements of the host school and expressed their pleasure at being part of the extended family of Seven Isles.
Seven Isles International School’s Annual Day celebration was a testament to its commitment to holistic education, fostering a blend of academic excellence and artistic expression. The theme “Time Travel” not only engaged the students’ imagination but also instilled in them a deeper appreciation for history and a sense of responsibility for the future.
